Join us from 10am-11:30am in the Tower 1 Banquet Room and pool deck for some fresh pastries, donuts, yogurt and fresh fruit, juice and coffee! Mimosas will be available for the first 50 residents who attend!
This is a great way to get to know your neighbors, and your Board Members who are always in attendance! Come and meet your fellow West Ocean residents! We hope to see you there!

LGBTQIA+ Cafe meets the first Wednesday of each month in the Tower 1 Banquet Room at 7:00 PM. Come and join us. Our group is open to anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ or anyone who is a friend and wants to socialize with us. All are welcome!
We are planning many activities for future months including a boating around the bay, more dinners, and cooking class. Come join the fun!

“Franz Kafka (1883-1924) has been called everything from a modernist to an existentialist, a fantasy writer to a realist. His work almost stands alone as its own subgenre, and the adjective ‘Kafkaesque’ – whose meaning, like the meaning of Kafka’s work, is hard to pin down – has become well-known even to people who have never read a word of Kafka’s writing. Perhaps inevitably, he is often misinterpreted as being a gloomy and humorless writer about nightmarish scenarios, when this at best conveys only part of what he is about.
A novel of such ambiguity will inevitably lend itself to a diversity of interpretation, but in The Trial you can at least be sure to find every element of storytelling now defined as Kafkaesque. Josef K., our protagonist, is unexpectedly arrested on the morning of his 30th birthday. The agents who arrest him are unidentified, the agency they work for is unspecified, and the crime for which he has been accused is unknown. When he is released, shortly after, he is told to await further instruction. In order to have your space cleaned, please move your vehicle during the above-mentioned day from 9am-4pm. Feel free to park in visitor parking but please notify the front desk before you do. Thank you!
