Holiday Giving Tree!

From the Social Committee’s  ‘Learn and Love Long Beach’ subcommittee: “For our 7th Annual Giving Tree, we are adopting 3 families being served by The Guidance Center.  With their headquarters located in Downtown Long Beach, The Guidance Center, est in 1946, provides comprehensive mental health treatment to our community’s most disadvantaged children and families struggling with mental illness and abuse, leading them toward a positive and productive future.

Starting November 11th in the Lobby of each tower will be a tree that has ornaments identifying some of the gifts from each family’s wish list.  Ornaments on the trees will be asking for gift cards to businesses such as Costco, Target and Payless Shoes, items for the moms, and gifts which the children will enjoy.  All these items are listed on the sign in/out sheets by the giving trees in each lobby. More information is also available next to the trees.  Deadline to donate is December 10th.  Any questions? Come by the front desk!
